Experience:
Experience in multi-head embroidery production planning will be preferred.
Strong understanding of embroidery processes, machine capacity planning, and shipment coordination.
Strong knowledge of embroidery production flow and planning.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and production reporting systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Strong follow-up and reporting capability.
Knowledge of Tajima / Barudan embroidery machine planning will be an advantage.
Familiar with buyer quality standards and shipment deadlines.
Good interpersonal and team management skills
Job Summary
The Production Planning & Coordination (PPC) Executive for the Embroidery Factory will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling embroidery production activities to ensure timely shipment as per buyer requirements. The incumbent will coordinate with merchandising, production, CAD/design, sampling, maintenance, store, quality, and commercial teams to achieve smooth workflow and optimum capacity utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly embroidery production plans based on shipment priorities.
Allocate machine capacity, manpower, and production targets efficiently.
Monitor line loading and production balancing to ensure maximum productivity.
Ensure proper planning according to machine type, embroidery design complexity, and delivery schedule.
Update and maintain production status reports regularly.
Coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Sampling, CAD, Store, Cutting, Printing, Sewing, Washing, and Finishing departments.
Follow up on order status from sample approval to bulk production completion.
Ensure all required inputs such as fabric panels, threads, backing paper, artwork, and accessories are available before production starts.
Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.
Track shipment schedules and ensure on-time order completion.
Identify possible delays and proactively take corrective actions.
Communicate production status and risks to management regularly.
Monitor daily production output, efficiency, rejection, alteration, and WIP status.
Prepare daily production reports, shipment status reports, and delay analysis.
Analyze production data and recommend improvements for productivity enhancement.
Ensure embroidery quality standards are maintained as per buyer requirements.
Coordinate with QA/QC team for inline and final inspections.
Support implementation of compliance, safety, and operational standards.
Coordinate with store for thread, backing paper, chemicals, spare parts, and other embroidery consumables.
Monitor consumption and wastage control.
Support process improvement initiatives for productivity and cost reduction.
Assist management in implementing lean manufacturing and efficiency improvement activities.
