Professional Requirements & Core Competencies

• Technical Expertise: Highly proficient in advanced MS Excel (mandatory) and experienced in operating computerized accounting systems.

• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record and hands-on experience handling L/C documentation, Customs formalities, and C&F operations.

• Typing Skills: Essential proficiency in bilingual data entry, with fast and accurate typing skills in both English and Bengali (Bijoy/Avro).

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a problem-solving mindset to resolve documentation or operational discrepancies efficiently.

• Soft Skills: Demonstrates high professional ethics, exceptional patience, politeness, and the strict ability to maintain organizational confidentiality.

• Work Under Pressure: Adaptive team player with the ability to manage stress and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.

• Liaison & Coordination: Maintain strong liaison with banks, shipping lines, transport agents, depots, and customs/govt officials to ensure smooth sea freight operations.

• Port & Customs Clearance: Execute end-to-end customs clearance at Chittagong Port for diverse cargo (steel, machinery, cotton, etc.) in strict compliance with Bangladesh Customs rules.

• Documentation & Compliance: Manage all import/export documentation, HS Code classification, SROs, tariffs, and tight maintenance of bond cancellation registers.

• Tracking & Logistics: Monitor vessel berthing, IGM, container tracking, and shipping line free-time to oversee delivery from port to destination factory.

• Leadership & Reporting: Lead the field team (Customs, Jetty, and Depot Sarkars) while providing daily reports on L/C status, import clearance, and logistics billing.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ASYCUDA World (BD) with excellent time-management skills to execute 100% billing and dispatch plans.
