∎ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or computer science or related field.
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ Ensure the IT and ICT support, maintenance, troubleshooting and security as per WVI IT policies, guidelines and standard.
∎ Analyze BRCR IT & ICT Requirements and provide necessary technical support including trouble shooting support to the BRCR users.
∎ Ensure training and notification of BRCR users on authorized IT & ICT gadgets, applications and IT/ICT security measures.
∎ Regular Scheduled Maintenance of all IT/ICT gadgets, Servers, Network Equipment and Power Backups.
∎ Ensure raising ICT related purchase request including software, prepare relevant bills and invoices, and timely payment of the bills/rents;
∎ Manage official and individual telephonic communication including SIM and Phone Sets distribution, phone bill management and troubleshooting;
∎ Ensure better management of BRCR Field Offices Administration, Facility Management, Field Visits, and Event Management;
∎ Contribute fully to the development of administrative policies, procedures, sub strategy and annual operating plan;
∎ Facilitate the organization of different organizational events (workshop, meeting, seminar, special days) and maintains technical and logistical elements as per need;
∎ Facilitate & coordinate general administrative services in BRCR field offices.
∎ Ensure provision of service desk services round the clock to the end users for assistance and problem solving matters.
∎ Assist IT Manager in managing high availability of the entire IT infrastructure including Network System Devices, Desktops, Servers, and Applications & Database.
∎ Assist users in training WVB staff on new/existing applications and systems in the company.
∎ Maintain user accounts, permissions, and security profiles.
∎ Coordinates with other support teams for problem resolution and enhancements.
∎ Managing existing operations and implementing new operations and processes in the organization.
∎ Provide support in record keeping for all licensing, technical support and vendors.
∎ Collaborate with business user groups to develop service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) and ensures internal customer service level expectations are met through the development and implementation of network services that maximize the team’s effectiveness in identifying needs and delivering quality services.
∎ Ensures incident management, resolution and reporting, timely corporate and field communication of IT issues, root-cause analysis, performance and process improvement and frequent statistical performance monitoring and reporting to achieve outstanding service level expectations.
∎ Installation, configuration, monitoring and response to security system
∎ Evaluate and develop approach to solutions
∎ Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network
∎ Configure the security appliances/ routers/ switches as planned & advised by IT WVB.
∎ Support day-to-day administration of NE (network elements)
∎ Ensure compliance with all organizational and country oriented standards/ policies/ guidelines/ procedures, laws and regulations for is security and audit requirements.
∎ Support IT & Admin manager of WV’ Cox’s Bazar Office in Asset Management.
∎ Facilities – checking photocopiers, PA Systems, printers, ACs, power supply and inform to IT & Admin Manager for necessary action and supervise AC and Electrical Servicing work.
∎ Collect information of troubles and problems of WV Response Offices and take necessary action for resolution.
∎ Supervise and lead seating arrangement and keep the sound system trouble-free at the Chapel Room during any event and daily chapel service.
∎ Regular small repairs and maintenance services of office assets and equipment’s.
∎ Keys custodian/filing (office/all items under Administration).
∎ Looking after the disposable assets.
∎ Collaboration works with Fleet and Safety & Security
∎ Assist bill payment delivery to the suppliers and service providers is on time
∎ Assist on General supplies processed and bills paid on time;
∎ Ensure All rental payments in association with Admin Coordinator.
∎ Gather new user requirement on IT and initiate procurement process on required IT equipment & accessories.
∎ Ensure quarterly IT asset reporting with physical verification.
∎ Charging code collection from Finance, PR Raising and Bill processing and settlement.
∎ To be certified with MCSA/ CCNA/ITIL
∎ At least 4-6 years experiences in providing IT technical support, preferably with NGO context and environment
∎ Require knowledge of basic IT systems, internal controls and procedures
∎ Must have thorough knowledge of and commitment of World Vision, its Ministries, Vision and Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Covenant of Partnership
∎ Thorough knowledge and high-level skills and experiences of computer hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance.
∎ Technical proficiency in the following areas: Windows Server 2008, Active Directory, SCCM, VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Terminal Services, Other Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 2008 Server, Windows XP, and Windows 7)
∎ Basic understanding of commonly used network protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, VPN, FTP etc) as well as routing, switching and firewalling.
∎ Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: CA ArcServe/TSM, Microsoft IIS 7.0, Lotus Dominos Server, Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition, Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus.
∎ Knowledge on Lotus Dominos and Lotus Notes is highly preferable.
∎ Knowledge on MIS/DB administration, storage system and clustering
∎ Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English
∎ Should be able to travel and work in remote locations up to 50% of time.
∎ Work will require visits to the Field Offices.
∎ Diverse language group and some work areas have security issues and work under deadline driven work-load.
