Bachelor’s degree/ Masters Degree preferably in Finance/Accounting or Chartered Accountancy qualification would be an added advantage
At least 3 years’ experience in related field. Prior experience of emergency response is preferred.
Advance knowledge on basic accounting procedures and practice in managing computerized Accounting System with International NGOs and Donor Agencies.
Good understanding of TAX and VAT rules and Act
Good knowledge on computerized accounting systems
Excellent inter-personal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Hands-on computer (MS Office & Excel) operating skills
Excellent coordination and negotiation skills

The Opportunity
The Officer – Finance plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the Cox’s Bazar Area Office by ensuring compliance with Save the Children International (SCI) policies and procedures. This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of effective financial systems that enable timely and accurate financial services to program and management teams.
The Officer– Finance contributes to the smooth execution of financial processes, including the adjustment of advances, verification of payments, and preparation of cash flow projections. By working closely with internal teams and reporting directly to the Senior Officer – Finance, the incumbent ensures that financial support is delivered efficiently to facilitate programmatic success and operational excellence.
