Experience:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in CSE, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, MIS, analytics, product development, fintech, or related fields.
Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of the stated educational or experience requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of finance and business operations.
Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel.
Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau and data visualization.
Good understanding of statistics, data management, and data quality.
Strong communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to translate analytical findings into practical business and product recommendations.
Strong interest in digital innovation, product development, fintech, and partnership initiatives.
Knowledge of Python or 'R' will be considered an added advantage.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to analyze microfinance and business data, generate actionable insights, support data-driven product development, and coordinate digital innovation initiatives and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Microfinance Data Analytics
Analyze loan, savings, client, portfolio, operational, and other microfinance data to identify trends, patterns, risks, opportunities, and business insights.
Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management and business decision-making.
Conduct portfolio, customer, product, and operational performance analysis.
2. Data-driven Product Development
Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for n
ew microfinance products, digital services, and business solutions.
Support the design, testing, and performance monitoring of new products using data-driven approaches.
Provide recommendations for product improvement based on customer behavior, market insights, and business performance.
3. Digital Innovation & Partnerships
Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for assigned digital innovative products, services, pilots, and initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, fintechs, technology companies, and service providers for digital collaboration and partnership initiatives.
Support partner evaluation, pilot implementation, performance monitoring, and scaling of successful digital solutions.
4. Data Management & Process Improvement
Collect, validate, clean, transform, and analyze data from internal and external sources.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality for analytical and reporting purposes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency through data and technology.
Conduct research on emerging technologies, digital financial services, market developments, and relevant industry trends.
