Responsibilities & Context:

Penston Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated teachers across all subjects to join our growing team in Dhanmondi and Uttara. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE / AS & A Level) as well as our Foundation Programme for pre-university students.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Cambridge International syllabus

  • Teach Foundation Programme classes to prepare students for university-level study

  • Guide students through past papers, exam techniques, and Cambridge marking schemes

  • Conduct regular assessments and provide meaningful feedback to students

  • Track and monitor individual student progress and communicate with parents as needed

  • Participate in Cambridge training and professional development programmes

  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to maintain academic standards

  • Maintain an organised, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
