Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-graduation (M.S.) with 4-years graduation (Hons.) in Nutrition and Food Science or relevant subjects.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervision and monitoring of full anthropometric assessment at the center level and ensure proper admission-discharge criteria were being followed for all the children and PLW, monitoring & referral of SAM/MAM or necessary cases to the attached OTP/TSFP/BSFP points and ensuring their admission, other activities at different points of the center and ensuring that they are running all the activities according to established protocols and standards that are given by WHO/UNICEF/WFP.
∎ Ensure the quality of regular nutrition education sessions by making dynamic plans of cascading efficient messages at the center level.
∎ Ensure cooking demonstration sessions for newly admitted beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure appropriate IEC materials are used by Counsellors and Health Educators in the session.
∎ Ensure the implementation and follow-up of standard protocols in the nutrition center.
∎ Ensure cleanliness, hygiene maintenance & etiquette management in the center.
∎ Monitoring & supervising proper crowd management and establishing complaint mechanisms.
∎ Ensure ECCD and community screening are ongoing.
∎ Monitoring & supervising the medical checkup done by the nurse.
∎ Make sure all data and information related to beneficiaries are recorded and calculated properly.
∎ Prepare monthly targets and activity plans.
∎ Control and follow up on the distribution and consumption of food products & medications in the center and ensure adequate supplies, stock maintenance & management through FDs and SK.
∎ Foster a collaborative work environment where mutual respect among staff is emphasized.
∎ Implement team-building activities to promote harmony and motivation among field-level staff.
∎ Monitor and ensure the attendance of nutrition staff, ensuring adherence to working hours.
∎ Track and manage staff days off and handle the replacement of personnel as needed.
∎ Report any instances of absence or failure to comply with working hours to the Program Manager.
∎ Collect and review monthly attendance sheets for staff and volunteers, submitting them to the Deputy Program Manager.
∎ Ensure that program staff strictly adhere to their job descriptions and fulfill their responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Promptly report any staff management issues to the Deputy Program Manager.
∎ Identify the needs for training of different categories of staff in the program.
∎ Regularly conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) based on need and capacitate the staff.
∎ To implement other activities, related to the objectives of the technical support unit, as assigned by the Line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Experience on managing Rohingya refugee program will add value.
∎ Should be well versed on technical aspects like CMAM, IYCF, CMAMI etc.
∎ Knowledge on the local language will add value.
∎ Should have a good observation and analytical skill.
∎ Should have the capability of interpersonal communication skills, especially on proficiency in speaking in English.
∎ Proficiency in MS excel, word, power point etc. are expected.
∎ Must have good analytical skill.
∎ Must have supportive supervision and leadership skills.
∎ Must have good decision-making skill.
∎ Must be proficient in training facilitation.
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Must have good team building capacity.
∎ Must be self-motivated and able to motivate the field staff.
∎ Must be able to work in camp locations in Ukhiya
