Educational Requirements:
∎ 4-years graduation (Hons.) in Nutrition and Food Science or relevant subjects.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up of the anthropometric measurement of the children (height, weight, MUAC, bilateral edema, and W/H percentage) taken by measures.
∎ Follow up on the registration of all the beneficiaries in the nutrition facility (registration book ID number, medical and nutrition treatment sheets, follow-up card ID number).
∎ The calculation, distribution, and monitoring of RUTF and RUSF according to the standard protocols for the beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure that the systematic treatment and drugs are given correctly to the beneficiaries.
∎ Identify patients who need to be transferred to inpatient due to failure to respond to treatment.
∎ Follow up on the weight gain and give feedback to the caregivers.
∎ Follow up on the medical treatment of beneficiaries transferred from inpatient to the nutrition facility for the continuation of their treatment.
∎ Decide which patients are at major risk and need special care in phase I refer to inpatient.
∎ Decide which patients should be admitted rapidly with an abbreviation history and examination after formal admission and the start of treatment.
∎ Monitor, prevent, and treat hypothermia and hypoglycemia.
∎ Diagnose and refer dehydration cases to the inpatient.
∎ Explain the treatment and follow-up procedures of SAM and MAM patients especially medical and nutrition treatment.
∎ Explain the importance of hygiene and sanitation in the center and at home.
∎ Follow up and implement the medical treatment for SAM and MAM patients in the nutrition facility.
∎ Ensure the registration of SAM/MAM children properly in the register book.
∎ Check if all the procedures are completed before discharge (anthropometric measurements, medical and nutritional treatment, systematic treatment, and health and nutrition education).
∎ Record all the necessary information in the registration book and card for each beneficiary.
∎ Identify and compile a list of beneficiaries who are absent or have defaulted, requiring follow-up and home visits by Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs).
∎ Foster a collaborative work environment where mutual respect among staff is emphasized.
∎ Promptly report any staff management issues to the Nutrition Site Supervisor.
∎ Capacitate the volunteer of OTP/TSFP point by conducting the OJT.
∎ Use prescribed reporting formats.
∎ Keep a tally of all the beneficiaries admitted and discharged from the nutrition facility (admission, cured, defaulters, death, transfer, referral, person with disability and discharge) by age, gender group and admission criteria used.
∎ Record in a register for the beneficiaries in the different phases of home visiting and follow-up.
∎ To provide a daily report on absentees and defaulters to the outreach team for follow-up and home visits.
∎ Prepare and submission of statistical and analytical reports to the NSS to compile within 1st day of the next month.
∎ Analyze the monthly reports to minimize the gaps and maximize the performance.
∎ Assist NSS to prepare beneficiary case studies.
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with Community Nutrition Supervisor to ensure the proper follow-up and home visit of beneficiaries.
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with IYCF Counsellor to ensure the proper beneficiary selection and refer from the IYCF point.
∎ Collaborate with the NSS to assist in the preparation of beneficiary case studies.
∎ To attend and represent WV during coordination meetings at the field level.
∎ To monitor the OTP/TSFP activities and prepare action plans based on the findings regularly.
∎ Regularly share the lessons learned with the program team.
∎ Regularly analyze the reports of the OTP/TSFP to identify gaps and take corrective measures.
∎ Maintain coordination with the MEAL team to evaluate program performances and support the PM to arrange lesson learning workshop to set up improvement plan for the future.
∎ To implement other activities, related to the objectives of the technical support unit, as assigned by the Line manager.
∎ Any other assignments were given by the Line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Experience on managing Rohingya refugee program will add value.
∎ Should be well versed on technical aspects like CMAM, IYCF, CMAMI etc.
∎ Knowledge on the local language will add value.
∎ Should have a good observation and analytical skill.
∎ Should have the capability of interpersonal communication skills, especially on proficiency in speaking in English.
∎ Proficiency in MS excel, word, PowerPoint etc. are expected.
∎ Must have good analytical skill.
∎ Must have supportive supervision and leadership skills.
∎ Must have good decision-making skill.
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Must have good team building capacity.
∎ Must be self-motivated and able to motivate the field staff.
∎ Must be able to work in camp locations in Ukhiya
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
