• Diploma in Nursing/ B.Sc. in Nursing

• Good communication skills in Bangla; basic English proficiency preferred.

• Ability to handle emergency situations and provide quick medical support.

• Knowledge of first aid, occupational health, and workplace safety practices.

• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email, reporting).

• Physically fit and capable of working in a factory environment.

• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills to deal with workers effectively.

• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts if required.

• Honest, responsible, and maintaining confidentiality of medical information.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements and labor law related to factory healthcare will be an advantage.

• Good team player with positive attitude and problem-solving ability.

GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Nurse" for Factory Unit, located in Shardaganj, Kashimpur, Gazipur.        

Job Responsibilities:

•  Provide first aid treatment to sick and injured employees.

• Handle minor injuries, cuts, burns, headaches, fever, body pain, and other common illnesses.

• Assist in emergency medical situations and workplace accidents.

• Monitor patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen level.

• Support Medical Officer during diagnosis and treatment.

• Dispense medicines according to doctor’s prescription.

• Maintain proper medicine stock and expiry records.

• Maintain employee treatment records and medical registers.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly medical reports.

• Record accident/injury cases and follow-up treatment history.

• Respond quickly during factory accidents and emergencies.

• Monitor sanitation and hygiene conditions in the workplace.

• Assist in vaccination and health screening programs.

• Coordinate with HR, Admin and compliance departments regarding worker/Staff health issues.

• Support pregnant workers and maternity-related health services.
