Responsibilities & Context:
Network Monitoring & Maintenance
Monitor fiber, GPON, and wireless networks using NMS (OLT, ONU, Mikrotik, etc.).
Detect and resolve downtime or connectivity issues promptly.
Maintain uptime of core and distribution networks.
Technical Support
Provide real-time support to field engineers and customer service teams.
Troubleshoot network issues (PPPoE, IP conflict, bandwidth drop, disconnection).
Handle router configuration (Mikrotik, ONU, ONT, Wi-Fi routers).
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily downtime and service logs.
Report link failures and maintenance activity to the network admin.
Update customer records and IP assignments in CRM or Google Sheet.
Coordination
Coordinate with field technicians for onsite solutions.
Communicate with upstream providers (if required) during link outages.
Assist management in network planning and optimization.
