Job Responsibilities:
∎ Keep up to date with developments in the media asset industry, changes in copyright law and image-related technology
∎ Managing proper audio encoding
∎ Develop editorial ideas that make readers feel something
∎ Research and discover potential partners to help bring those ideas to life
∎ Be strategic about who we're working with and why
∎ Be a voracious consumer of all things digital, curious about various mediums, aware of media trends, and excited about newfangled possibilities
∎ Work with the editorial teams to develop features, packages, and editorial initiatives that leverage these partners
∎ Solicit editorial ideas from partners
∎ Be excellent at pitching ideas and communicating our brands' voices
∎ Manage relationships with partners
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5+ years editorial experience, social media editor experience a plus
∎ Demonstrated excellence in editing, writing, reporting, assigning and planning
∎ Familiarity with major Internet search engines and fluency in electronic newsgathering techniques, including quickly navigating the Internet
∎ Maintain a digital library of all content
∎ Coordinate and administrate team's efforts for online presence and engagement projects
∎ Assist Social, Development and Operations Teams to align all social marketing plans and messaging.
