∎ Job Description: We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent creative skills. This person will participate in the design, development, and support of infographic and animation works. You will spend most of your time in design and animation using design tools, graphics and animation software.
∎ Duty Station: Head office in Banani, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop concepts, determine the visual style, and convey the narrative of animated projects.
∎ Create storyboards, scene-by-scene sketches, and illustrations to establish the visual direction and storytelling elements of the animation.
∎ Develop and refine character designs, sprite sheets, props, backgrounds, and other necessary assets based on project requirements.
∎ Utilize digital tools and software to transform 2D sketches and designs into digital vector illustrations, paying attention to detail and quality.
∎ Rig characters and set up animation controls using animation software and tools.
∎ Bring characters, objects, and environments to life through key-frame animations, ensuring smooth and fluid motion.
∎ Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain an efficient animation pipeline and workflow, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficiency in traditional art techniques such as sketching, drawing, illustration, and painting, with a deep understanding of color theory, composition, and visual aesthetics.
∎ Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to convey narrative through artwork and animation.
∎ Experience in creating storyboards, scene-by-scene sketches, and digital illustrations to communicate the visual direction.
∎ Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate and After Effects as well as rigging and puppeteering software like Adobe Character Animator or Toon Boom Harmony.
∎ Understanding of animation principles, timing, movement, and the ability to bring characters, objects, and environments to life to achieve smooth and fluid motion, paying attention to details like weight, timing, and arcs.
∎ Familiarity with the animation pipeline and workflow, collaborating with the team to establish efficient processes.
∎ Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines. Proficient understating of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
∎ Minimum 4 years of relevant experience along with references.
