Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc Or MSc in Microbiology/ Fisheries/ Biotechnology from reputed university

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform microbiological testing as follows:
∎ Standard Plate Count
∎ Total coliform
∎ Faecal coli/E. coli
∎ Vibrio cholera
∎ Salmonella sp.
∎ Vibrio parahaemolyticus
∎ Listeria monocytogenes
∎ Staphylococcus aureus
∎ Perform environmental monitoring of the clean rooms (under ISO and EU specifications)
∎ Read, trend and report environmental, personnel, in-process, raw material, finish product and water bioburden testing results
∎ Prepare and send out samples for microbiological identification
∎ QC microbiological sample receipt for internal testing, login, processing and tracking
∎ Equipment cleaning and maintenance
∎ Provide information and advice to colleagues and external bodies

Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have practical knowledge on ISO standard testing
∎ Advance knowledge on ISO standard methodology and EU requirement
∎ Experience in a laboratory setting
