Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide case management services to persons of concern at health facility and community level. Identify vulnerable cases and ensure their access to available services.
∎ Prioritize the registered cases, based on a risk assessment, taking in consideration the harm and vulnerability but also protective and resilience factors.
∎ Refer people in need to services accordingly and work on an action plan for their overall wellbeing.
∎ Follow-up on referrals on a regular base with other actors and with the beneficiaries to ensure that their basic needs are met, and they receive essential services.
∎ Be in constant contact with other MHPSS staff to ensure holistic care and refer accordingly to the team for individual or family counselling, psychoeducation, awareness sessions, etc.
∎ Keep on mapping the provision of basic services and protection activities at area of operation level and disseminate information on how to reach those services resources.
∎ Provide direct assistance to the most vulnerable individuals and families of the affected populations such as women, children, older adults, persons with disabilities, survivors of violence, and socially marginalized persons.
∎ Provide support in conducting group sessions, whenever needed.
∎ Strengthen existing social networks and promote participatory initiatives aimed at activating protective, restorative and transformative psychosocial factors at community level.
∎ Coordinate with the team the inclusion of vulnerable cases in community-based activities along the full spectrum of the MHPSS IASC intervention pyramid.
∎ Facilitate MHPSS needs assessments, surveys, researches in the concerned communities of the project to enhance access to community based psychosocial and protection services, whenever needed.
∎ Maintain clients' records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress and respect confidentiality during the whole process of case management.
∎ Maintain appropriate records/database of all case management cases.
∎ To perform and other duties as may be needed and agreed with the MHPSS Project Assistant.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 61,880.33.
