Education:
∎ Preference: Graduation Degree in Apparel Manufacturing/Merchandising or a Related Field.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Fully conversant in Merchandising for Woven items in Garment Industry for Tops & Bottoms.
∎ Conversant on market price for local procurement of piece goods.
∎ Communication & networking skill, ability to regularly monitor & seeking clarification in Stores: Inventory, Inspection & Quality Check, Issue & Leftovers.
∎ If maximum Alteration works (to reduce garment leftover) is not being done.
∎ If maximum shipment of garments being made where scope for excess Parentage allowed.
∎ On proper utilization of threads etc. for embroidery works.
∎ If distinct & catalogued storage of leftovers made by Stores.
∎ If full utilization of fabric end pcs being made to reduce wastage & optimum utilization of fabrics.
∎ If proper & catalogued storage of leftover accessories earmarked by Merchandising for future use is not purchased prorate again.
∎ If any issue of fabric or accessories above Issue Authority being made without due approval from top level.
∎ If thread consumption for garment manufacture takes into account compulsory retconning instruction.
∎ If some accessories like backboard, neck board etc can be locally modified to reduce procurement cost of forthcoming orders.
∎ If SOP procedure for Inventory, Inspection, Storage, Controlled Issue of Raw Materials received are being duly followed by Stores.
∎ If cost & quality of raw materials local procurement found disproportionate to market price (knowledge essential to this end).
∎ If any inadequacy/suspected foul play in any reports or papers prepared &/or originated by any related department(s)/dealing personnel.
∎ If any Pre or Post Shipment Costing has any inadequacies or miss-outs (Must be able to prepare Pre/Post Shipment Costing correctly with feedbacks).
∎ Job Responsibilities:

∎ Job Location: Corporate Office at Banani, Dhaka but entail visits to our factory depending on work exigencies, requirements & TOR as above stated.
