• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.

• 3–5 years of merchandising experience in sweater factories (preferably handling international buyers).
• Strong knowledge of yarn types, gauges, trims, and knitwear production processes.
• Excellent communication skills (English spoken & written).
• Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Role Overview:

The position will manage and coordinate sweater merchandising activities from order development to shipment, ensuring accurate product execution, timely delivery, and effective communication between buyers, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle buyer accounts independently for sweaters (knitwear) and maintain strong client communication.
• Review and confirm purchase orders, technical packs, and specifications.
• Prepare order sheets, costing, and time & action (T&A) plans.
• Ensure on-time sample development (proto, fit, size set, PPS, shipment samples).
• Coordinate with knitting, linking, washing, dyeing, and finishing teams for smooth production.
• Follow up with suppliers for yarn, trims, and accessories to ensure on-time availability.
• Communicate daily with buyers regarding approvals, comments, and updates.
• Work closely with the production and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Track production progress against T&A and highlight risks of delay.
• Ensure that all quality requirements are met as per buyer standards.
• Attend pre-production meetings to clarify technical details.
• Assist in price negotiation with buyers and suppliers.
• Prepare consumption and costing sheets for sweaters.
• Maintain all order-related documentation, approvals, and records.
• Ensure compliance with buyer standards and factory procedures.

Key Deliverables / KPIs:

• On-time submission of samples and approvals.
• Achievement of on-time delivery (OTD) for all sweater orders.
• Accuracy in costing and consumption.
• Buyer satisfaction and repeat orders.
• Smooth coordination across departments (no production halts due to merchandising gaps).
