Good knowledge of product development, costing, sampling, production, and shipment procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary
A reputed buying house is looking for an experienced and proactive Merchandiser (Customer-Next ) to manage merchandising activities for NEXT Buyer orders. Candidates must have direct experience handling NEXT Buyer. Applicants without NEXT Buyer experience are strongly discouraged from applying.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for NEXT Buyer orders.
Communicate and coordinate with NEXT Buyer representatives, suppliers, factories, and internal teams.
Follow up on product development, sampling, approvals, and order execution.
Monitor fabric, trims, accessories, and other material sourcing to ensure timely availability.
Follow up on production progress, quality standards, and shipment schedules.
Ensure timely submission and approval of samples, lab dips, trims, and other required documents.
Coordinate with the quality, commercial, and production teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Maintain accurate merchandising records, order status reports, and buyer correspondence.
Ensure compliance with NEXT Buyer requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Identify and resolve merchandising-related issues to ensure on-time shipment.
