Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Have valid registration from BMDC
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out medical examinations, treatment, and consultations of program participants.
∎ Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries. The candidate must be willing to travel to nearby SUDIN sites and conduct house visits, if required.
∎ Order and carry out appropriate pathological tests.
∎ Co-ordinate appropriate follow-up care for patient following initial medical examination.
∎ Make referrals to empaneled hospitals and maintain regular communication with those hospitals.
∎ Provide training and support to the SAJIDA Shasthyo Bandhus (community health workers) who are primarily responsible for connecting participants to SUDIN’s health interventions (as and when required).
∎ Liaise with other SUDIN streams and operations teams.
∎ Follow-up of high-risk pregnant mothers, newborns, post-natal mothers, and other referred cases. The candidate must be open to making house visits for following up with pregnant mothers, if required.
∎ Contribute to the development of health information resource, culturally appropriate clinical services and related health and wellbeing events.
∎ Keep up to date with respect to developments within occupational health, elderly medicine, and other specialties relevant to the medical work.
∎ Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Perform such other duties that may be assigned by organization.
∎ Participate in different government programs on various special days i.e. National Immunization Day, World Health Day, World Tuberculosis Day, World Population Day, etc.
∎ Conduct training on various health issues.
∎ Follow up the health forum at community.
