• Diagnose and treat a wide range of hormonal imbalances and disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and issues related to the pituitary and adrenal glands.

• Analyze laboratory tests (like blood tests for hormone levels) and imaging results (like ultrasounds or MRIs of endocrine glands) to understand the root cause of hormone imbalances. 

• Based on assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, which may involve medication, hormone replacement therapy, lifestyle changes, and in some cases, surgery. 

• Monitoring patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal management of chronic conditions. 

• Play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of lifestyle modifications. 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, dietitians, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. 

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in endocrinology through continuing education and professional development. 

• May also perform procedures like biopsies of endocrine glands and administer hormone replacement therapies.
