Responsibilities & Context:
Examine patients, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions.
Prescribe appropriate medicines and provide treatment according to medical guidelines.
Provide emergency medical care and stabilize critical patients.
Refer patients to specialist doctors when necessary.
Maintain accurate patient medical records, prescriptions, and treatment reports.
Monitor patients' health conditions and evaluate treatment progress.
Advise patients on preventive healthcare, hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.
Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety standards.
Participate in ward rounds, outpatient services, and inpatient care as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call duties when required.
Prepare medical reports, certificates, and other necessary documentation.
Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and hospital healthcare standards.
