∎ Diploma in Medical Assistant/ MATS from an accredited academic institution recognized & registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC)
∎ Educational qualification can be relaxed for more experienced candidate.

Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Medical Assistant for this project. The positions confirmation is subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a Medial team in terms of planning, community case management, medication, and educate families on home based management of patients, refer patients to appropriate facilities as necessary.
∎ Provide training and support to the grass root health workers to enhance their knowledge on COVID and other relevant diseases and compile reports for daily and weekly activities from CHWs.
∎ Assist government to adopt a surveillance mechanism for tracing suspected COVID patients and support to maintain MIS.
∎ Support restoring WASH services/facilities at CCs and training to staff and volunteers to educate communities on health, hygine and WASH related activities.
∎ Any other tasks deemed necessary to achieve the home based care objectives according to the advice of Medical officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 2 years' experiences of working in development organization related to Health program from CHTs will get preference.
∎ Excellent understanding and experience in WASH is a plus
∎ Adequately aware of government's health system at Upazila and below and aware of the scale and devastation of COVID-19 across the country
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload
∎ Ability to contribute to develop a proactive team, working collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Written and verbal skills in both Bengali and English
∎ Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
