Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified MEAL Officer for this project. The position/ incumbent will be confirmed subject to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazila
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the design and lead the implementation of the project MEAL plan and Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT)
∎ Assist in developing data collection tools in regard to sector specific COVID response, capacitate team to use those and capture monitoring progress towards project targets and outputs.
∎ Ensure collection of routine data through field team to regularly update project performance and also conduct data quality assessment in field sites for quality assurance purposes
∎ Ensure data entry in DHIS2 based platform, data analysis and action planning for quality enhancement
∎ Provide regular support in data analysis for decision making, Joint Planning, Mentoring, Periodic Monitoring, Process Documentation, Reporting and Knowledge Management.
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor the field activities and report to Project Coordinator (PC) and management with field findings and way forward in consideration of project DIP developed jointly.
∎ Provide on-the-job support and guidance to MIS Officer and MOHFW upazila level respective staff Support team to collect success stories and Coordinate project activities related to Skills and Learning Transfer
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 4 years experiences of working in a MEAL Officer position in a development organization especially USAIDS funded project related to WASH, Child Protection and Health program.
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good working knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, Excel, etc.) is required, expertise in DHIS2 based database management is preferable.
∎ Experience in maternal, child health and nutrition-based program
∎ Experience in working closely with GOB Health, Family Planning, LGI and development partners
∎ Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently.
∎ Computer skills: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, familiarity with DHIS2, eMIS and other digital MIS platforms, email and web browsing
∎ Willingness to travel across the project implementation areas
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
