Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters' in Development Studies/Statistics / Economics /Sociology /Social Work or Welfare/ Anthropology from any recognized University. Academic qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.

Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 89 on-going projects covering 189 focusing upazila on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.
∎ The details of the positions including job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities /competency required for the above positions are given below for your information.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop questionnaire, arrange field-testing before data collection and devise other materials needed to extract data pertaining to the activities.
∎ Take lead in providing support to Upazila for collecting the required data and input mechanism in place for data validation.
∎ Prepare and implement monitoring tool for the project.
∎ Undertake field visit at project area as per demand of the project and make individual plan for collecting data for project monitoring purpose.
∎ Conduct baseline survey, Midline and End line surveys on family profile along with PDM, feedback mechanism of the project working/ implementing areas.
∎ Regularly update community-based database.
∎ Measure project achievement as per log frame.
∎ Develop a MIS system for the project and prepare monitoring report.
∎ Monitor progress and performance of the project activities;
∎ Responsible for preparing monitoring report of Project as and when needed.
∎ Provide all the necessary information - analyzed data, success stories and learning to support Manager MEAL in preparing quarterly reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 2-3 years working experience in the similar job in any NGO/INGOs. Working experience in emergency response program especially in Cox's Bazar district for Rohingya People will be given preference.
∎ Excellent data management (collection, entry, analysis and visualization) skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar platforms. Familiarity with analysis software such as Kobo, Comm Care, SPSS, STATA, etc. is a plus.
∎ Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect and report inconsistencies.
∎ Demonstrated skills in data analysis and interpretation
∎ Demonstrated skills in analysing data using statistical software.
∎ Strong written and oral command in English is required. Speaking ability in Chattogram local dialect a plus
∎ Good report-writing and presentation skills.
∎ Computer skill both English & Bangla on MS-Office.
∎ Knowledge on local language will be given preference.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities.
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal and policies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Have good knowledge on Safeguarding related policies, GBV, Child Protection policy and other relevant policy.
∎ Age: Maximum 40 years (as on 30.04.2021)

Salary:
∎ 60,000 BDT (Consolidated) per month.
