∎ Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline preferably statistics

∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ MEAL assistant will assist the MEAL Officer to maintain database of the project beneficiaries as per prescribed template from WFP. All information of the project beneficiaries will be maintained in disaggregation of sex age, disability, and location. Data protection policy will be strictly ensured in this regards.
∎ S/he will collect the data, conduct visit project area on random basis for quality checking of the performed activities. Furthermore, will conduct On-Site Distribution Monitoring to check on the level of satisfaction from the beneficiaries during the cash distribution process. There will be also Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) which will be conducted immediately after distribution of cash or inputs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the MEAL Officer to maintain database of the project beneficiaries.
∎ Collect the data, conduct visit project area on random basis for quality checking of the performed activities
∎ Up to date the project MEAL data base,
∎ Conduct on site monitoring of field activities.
∎ Collect information for Case Study.
∎ Assist to Compile, aggregate and analyze data and information elements required to produce standardized information products and implement data/information collection plans for baseline and context-specific data.
∎ Assist to prepare and operationalize Database to capture routine monitoring and processing functions installed and maintained;
∎ Undertake regular field visits to support implementation of M&E and check the quality of data produced
∎ Assist MEAL Officer for Data aggregation products and analysis produced to meet requirements for quarterly & annual progress reports
∎ Good demonstration and understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships.
∎ Ensure integration, cooperation and coordination among coworkers, partners and stakeholders.
∎ Show positive and learning attitude
∎ As per requirement in changing context, support to sectors in performing relevant activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation
∎ Familiar with and abide by the NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, the People in Aid Code, HAP, Core Humanitarian standards
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Oral communication skills in Chittagonian and/or Rohingya
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Intermediate level of computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Power Point, SPSS & other database program.
∎ Proven skill in quantitative and report writing
∎ At least two years hands on experience in monitoring and evaluation of development / emergency projects
∎ 50% field based work / field visit

Salary: Negotiable
