Job Context:
∎ Kaan Pete Roi Emotional Support and Suicide Prevention Helpline is a volunteer run non-profit organization established following the Befriending model. The mission of the helpline is to alleviate feelings of despair, isolation, distress, and suicidal feelings among members of the community. Kaan Pete Roi accomplishes this through confidential, compassionate, and open-minded listening.
∎ The Marketing and Communications Officer will coordinate and lead/assist all content of media, publications, communication and advocacy activities. He/She will assist the Outreach Head to develop and execute marketing campaigns and plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments in alignment with overall program goals.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on the target audience.
∎ Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, reports, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities and services.
∎ Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with Kaan Pete Roi's objectives and standards
∎ Coordinate all public relations activities
∎ Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising to enhance the reputation and reach of the organization, and coordinate publicity events as required.
∎ Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
∎ Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results to management on a regular basis
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
∎ Good understanding of and experience in working with web-based content management systems (CMS).Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
