  • Experience in Integrated project capacity building such as livelihood, Non-farm activities like sewing, handy craft, block batiks etc.Capacity building skill to the staff, FDMN & volunteer

  • Skill on training need assessment, module/guideline preparation for integrated project.Practical working experience in multi-sectoral program management such as in sewing, embroidery, block batiks or any potential trade at camp setup for external market linkage

  • Hands on experience on project procurement planning

  • Technical assistance to the project staff for resource implementation

  • Experience in monitoring, targeting and selection of vulnerable population

  • Reporting and accounting experience needed

  • Experience in training monitoring, evaluation and report writing

  • Profession communication skill intra WVB department, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.Skill in project coordination, collaboration and networking in humanitarian context

  • Able to speak and write with a high standard of both English, Bangla

  • Experience working in diverse office environment

  • Must be able to use computer (MS word, excel, software) and internet  Leadership, accountability, Good analytical, Creativity and innovation skill3-4 years of training experience in Integrated Food Security, Livelihood, IGA & Non-farm intervention Project  Experience in World Vision.Absolute field based position

Responsibilities & Context:
  • The Market Promotion Officer under the Learn to Live project will be based on field office assist to ensure the capacity building initiative, guideline/module preparation, planning, quality, efficient and effective delivery of project activities for market linkage, product promotion etc. The position will responsible for the direct field implementation of all kinds of integrated IGA in for training, gap analysis and product branding, market linkage of Project selected trade based non-farm intervention among the FDMN. Assist to project staff to do including the liaison with the Government Department, Market actors, related NGOs, counter parts liaison with other WVB projects to ensure the services are well integrated and well-coordinated. 

  • The Market Promotion Officer will work closely and assist the Manager.to establish humanitarian accountability feedback mechanisms in all activities. The Market Promotion Officer will assist the PM to ensure that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional, and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation. The Officer will assist PM for documenting success stories from group/individual and works closely with the Communications and Advocacy to report on the success stories.

  • Prepare detailed training implementation plan, training module/guideline, training needs, procurement and supply chain management of project activities in the camps and host.Organize the orientation and training of staff and volunteers and FDMN in close link with project staff.Develop IEC materials as per needs of L2L project

  • Support procurement to the project staff as per WVB standard.Provide technical guidance and support on non-farm IGA to field staff to ensure field level training, session, demonstration and others interventions.

  • Monitor progress through field visits, plotting or demos and meetings with staff, communities, and other stakeholders.Provide technical support on non-farm IGA to enrich their knowledge and skills support field team in all level of operations, including capacity building of staff, facilitators and FDMN.  Assess the quality of program implementation and take necessary initiative for continuous improvement of the program; Resolve and avoid the conflict of community development interventions.Keep informal/formal network with other organizations doing similar program in the refugee camps;Maintain strong relationship with field level Volunteers, Trade Groups, CiC, Sector, Site-Management and Other stakeholders of the camps;Ensure proper documentation of project success stories and case studies and other meeting reports.Assisting the Project Manager in controlling the project budgets by budget monitoring.

  • Assist in the efficient and effective delivery of project’s services:

  • Assist the PM to develop plans and develop schedules.o    Assist to Identify and select training need for non-farm like sewing, handy craft, tailoring, block batiks etc.Organize capacity building initiative of staff, FDMN, volunteero    Capacity building of staffs with the assistance of LSDS, Marker actors.Take prime role on deliver on specialized training.Ensure training reporting.Assist to ensure inputs.Fully functional, well maintained, all the interventions. Well developed and planned utilization of services and activities Adequately equipped all the front line staffs and centers for training delivery. IGA and market driven intervention Market linkage and value chain.

  • Assist the PM in overseeing the implementation of MEAL structures and systems for the project:

  • Assist the PM in working with the MEAL team to develop the MEAL structures and system. Assist the PM to ensure that feedback from HA structures and system and feedback from Monitoring systems is used to improve the quality and implementation of the interventions. Assist the PM to update partners, and relevant stakeholders on required DME process, standard and systems.Well structured, coordinated, MEAL structures and systems that inform program quality and implementation.

  • Assist in the Coordination and integration of other WV services:

  • Assist the PM in overall coordination and leading the discussion on integrating other WV services/activities. Assist the PM in developing the schedules for integrated services/activities to improve the impact of WVB emergency response programs.Well-integrated services for greater impact and output.

  • Assist the PC in Reporting and Accounting:

  • Assist the PM in reporting and tracking all commodities, non-food items and inputs for the BnFs. Assist the PM for internal weekly, monthly and quarterly donor reporting. Assist the PM in working in collaboration with the Communications Unit to document success Well-coordinated reporting structures and verified reports from the projects Well-tracked movement of the community assets.

  • Assist the PM to ensure Sustainability and Exit Strategy:

  • Assist the PM to Lead the sustainability and exit strategy discussions with the Community / Government Leaders and World Vision Sectors.Well continuation of certain project interventions in the Rohingya camps
