Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in Science or Business Administration.
∎ A professional degree or certification in the field of insurance will be given preference.
∎ Skills Required: Analytical Skill, Good communication skills, Report Writing, Time Management skills

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Claims Processing (Insurance), Consultancy, General Insurance, Inspection, marine cargo, marine claims, multinational company

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proactively investigate, negotiate and resolve marine claims, involving complex issues and/or litigation.
∎ Ensure that claims are analyzed for coverage, adjusted and paid properly within company guidelines.
∎ Coordinate and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer service.
∎ Responsible for claims processing and administration.
∎ Ensure that all claims are handled within authority limits and in line with our procedures and guidelines.
∎ Review and analyze claim reports to identify and address trends.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to correct adverse trends.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Candidates should have both practical and theoretical knowledge in handling marine insurance claims, marine claims loss adjustments and management.
∎ Candidates should be able to interpret marine insurance policy terms and conditions and adjust claims independently.
∎ Retired professionals in the field of marine insurance and claims may also apply for this position.
