Responsibilities & Context:
  • To act as the Head of the Department and ensure all operational activities of the travel department are taking place smoothly

  • To oversee and perform the core activities of ticketing and reservation for domestic as well as international flights such as creating PNR, issuing tickets using relevant GDS software such as Travelport (Galileo), Amadeus and SABRE, calculating and offering the best rates to customers, processing cancellations and modifications of reservations, etc.

  • To lead and ensure active Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform of the Department

  • To offer the best customer service to existing and prospective clients by ensuring prompt service by self and team members and displaying top notch professionalism and behavior

  • To handle customer requirements/requests with utmost importance ensuring minimum complaints

  • To explain policies and procedures to customers and ensure that they have a positive experience when interacting with the department

  • To maintain liaison with existing customers through regular contacts and also working on creating effective strategies to onboard new customers and increase the customer base of Finlay Travels

  • To Assist customers with other related services such as visa arrangements, package tour plan etc. to ensure best all-round service for the customer

  • To Supervise the selection, placement, promotion, training, appraisal, and discipline of all employees of Finlay Travels

  • To generate, monitor & follow-up the various kinds of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reports

  • To ensure all data are readily available in the Company’s in-house ERP software
