Additional Requirements:
  • Experience in B2G or industrial sales, preferably in electrical metering, smart grid, or energy solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Bangladesh’s power distribution network and tendering procedures (e-GP, REB, DESCO, DPDC, BPDB).

  • Proven record of winning tenders or securing large B2G contracts.



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the prepaid metering and smart metering markets.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue targets.

  • Manage tender participation, including proposal preparation, technical-commercial bid submissions, and negotiation.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, utilities, EPC contractors, and project consultants.

  • Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging technologies.

2. Client & Partner Management:

  • Build and sustain long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at utilities and public-sector organizations.

  • Liaise with international suppliers and OEMs for collaboration, technical support, and product localization.

  • Provide continuous after-sales and technical support coordination to ensure client satisfaction.

3. Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Assist senior management in defining business growth strategies, product positioning, and market entry plans.

  • Support in the development of marketing materials, product presentations, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor project pipelines and forecast sales and revenue growth.

4. Coordination & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis reports for management review.

  • Represent the company in trade fairs, seminars, and industry meetings related to energy metering.
