Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc/ B.Sc in Agriculture from reputed Public university
∎ MSC in Horticulture will be preferable
∎ Candidates should have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00
∎ No 3rd class will be acceptable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Trial:
∎ Setting up research objectives according to seasons of a year along with on analysis and data processing.
∎ Variety allocation in the trials for specific seasons of a year along with preference ranking.
∎ Budgeting of different seasonal trials including benefit cost analysis (BCR) of different Products
∎ Attend meeting with foreigners (Seed suppliers) regarding crop improvement as per market requirement
∎ Displaying the scenario of the variety in the upcoming market with its competitors with the management
∎ Report preparation for the principals/management and others stakeholders where necessary.
∎ Participates in field day as where required as per demand from company.
∎ Take part in capacity building of ARMS staffs related to Unique Selling Point character's analysis.
∎ Product Development:
∎ Segmentation & Following up of whole vegetables market trend according to seasons/areas and location specific also.
∎ Competitor analysis such as product features (strength-weakness) along with the price and marketable scenario analysis.
∎ Set up multiplication trial of promising hybrids along with market leading varieties for a specific areas/seasons in different locations of Bangladesh.
∎ Provide technical support & conduct training of stakeholders (Lead farmers, Dealers & staffs) as well as giving feedback to field level staff.
∎ Frequently field visit and monitor the products performance in field level.
∎ Attend field day in different locations of Bangladesh as where necessary to brief products strength.
∎ Displaying the Comparative studies between new hybrids 7 Market Leader to management as well as to principle (seeds Suppliers)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ At least 7-year(s) experience in research and development wing of seed Industry/agro based industry including knowledge on data analysis.
∎ Have sound knowledge on vegetables production related disease, insects and pest's management.
∎ Having research paper will give extra privilege.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Proficiency in computer literacy and sound analytical ability of email correspondence with principal company.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly salary will be offer. BDT 50,000-55,000/- based on experience and educational background.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival bonus, mobile allowance, share of yearly company profit share, contributory provident fund and others according to company policy.
