Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To carry out all managerial functions and also provide oversight to the Medhabikash program also in charge of the general administration of the scholarship initiatives.
∎ Oversee and supervise the planning process for the Medhabikash Udyog activities including the student’s selection process in line with the set eligibility criteria and arranging schooling at the secondary level.
∎ Oversee the scholarship program budgeting process for all planned activities in line with the provisions of the program budget also ensuring effectiveness, efficiency in financial management and accountability in implementing all program activities.
∎ Coordinate and organize all scholarship activities including comprehensive student support services and students’ enrichment activities, student selection and recruitment, educational Support (Student Costs), and supporting the creation of an active alumni network.
∎ In charge of supervising the implementation of all activities of the Program Organisers (PO) in tandem with the monthly and annual scholarship program Activity work plan. Including monitoring field-level operations of the Pos, scholarship disbursement and its tracking.
∎ Oversee the generation of weekly, monthly and annual reports and analysis of program initiatives and other matters regarding the implementation of all scholarship program activities and other related programs. Ensuring that the monthly reporting adheres to the reporting guidelines already in place.
∎ Oversee coordination and the placement of scholars in some of the top schools by coordinating the process and liaising with the Regional Coordinators and concerned school heads where appropriate also building and maintaining a cordial working relationship with all schools and other stakeholders.
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for operating Medhabikash Udyog by selecting underprivileged students who are meritorious and or have need and provide scholarship at secondary and tertiary education.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
