∎ S/he should have an extensive experience in M&E and latest IT techniques, reporting, documentation, publication in development fields. Experience of Result Based Monitoring will be given preference;
∎ S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in particularly English and also Bengali;
∎ Sound IT literacy with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the internet;
∎ Displays cultural, gender, religion, indigenous, and age sensitivity and adaptability;
∎ Treats all people fairly without favoritism or discrimination;
∎ Ability to identify and remedy problems and make decisions;
∎ Committed to meeting the deadlines;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Ability to work individually and in a team;
∎ Fulfills all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement an effective result based M&E system including tools and technique in collaboration with the donor, partners and program staff and ensure that M&E systems and procedures are well-integrated with
∎ donor and organization’s reporting systems and procedures;
∎ Generate convincing evidence of project impact for organization’s authority, policy makers, donors, government officials , internal and other stakeholders;
∎ Be self-driven and responsible for the project’s delivery target, address all sorts of administrative and management troubles in consultation with supervisor for moving ahead along with necessary liaising with management;
∎ Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project outputs;
∎ Suggest strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
∎ Prepare quality monitoring and evaluation reports highlighting achievements and share with programme staffs and senior management for further improvement;
∎ Any other responsibilities as suggested by the senior management.
∎ Work as a focal person for the Monitoring and Evaluation unit, identify delivery issues of the unit and ensure effective coordination of the unit activities for quality and consistency;
∎ Lead the unit and be responsible for generating outputs and results specified for this unit as well as for the whole project;
∎ Coordinate , organize, facilitate different research/evaluation ( baseline establishment, mid-term evaluation, final evaluation, etc) using both qualitative and quantitative methods;
∎ Develop ToR for hiring consulting firm following procedure and coordinate researches and studies project evaluations;
∎ Ensure quality of study report prepared by the consulting firm by providing technical inputs and ensuring compliance of the study with respective ToR, and share the findings with senior management and different stakeholders.
∎ Prepare Annual and Multi Year plan and budget of own unit/component and contribute in preparing overall project work plan and budget;
∎ Prepare periodic reports and M&E report of the project for senior management and donors following the respective guidelines of them;
∎ Participate and contribute in Annual Project Reviews and Planning workshops and assist programme coordinator in preparing materials for workshops
∎ Organize and facilitate M&E trainings and workshops including preparation of concept note and development of training materials, training schedule, etc; if necessary.
∎ Identification and documentation of success stories, achievements, lessons learned and document recommendations to be integrated into broader knowledge management efforts.
∎ Compile and disseminate information extracted from all available information management systems to management and other stakeholders as needed
∎ Identify and formulate lessons learned from evaluations and studies to be integrated into broader knowledge management, planning and strategy
∎ Ensure and coordinate that information and data from the field are captured, documented, analyzed, and reported in a results-based format and timely manner;
∎ Produce high-quality progress reports for donors, board members, and relevant stakeholders both in English and Bengali;
∎ Undertake field visits to gather the information and results related to the programmes;
∎ Assist all components of the programme in producing and documenting all kinds of programme related reports, including visibility material;
∎ Provide high-quality editing and formatting for all programme-related documents;
∎ Support programme/project staff in organizing and writing high-quality reports on advocacy and networking events;
∎ Prepare and edit press programme related progress reports, and documents, including case stories and content for website and social media in time;
∎ Develop and write contents for organizational website and social media;
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the higher authority.
∎ A National Policy Advocacy and Networking Organization, is going to recruit following position for promoting land rights and access to natural resources of the marginalized poor, landless, women, ethnic peoples and minorities.
∎ Manager (M&E), a senior position of the organization, will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a result-based M&E frameworks/strategies. The position will develop quantitative and qualitative tools, ensuring the effective implementation of the M&E system and reporting. The role includes leadership in conducting outcome/impact studies, strategic planning for comprehensive M&E, and the development and strengthening of institutional monitoring procedures within the organization. Additionally, the Manager (M&E) will facilitate knowledge building and sharing, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Development and implementation of result-based monitoring, evaluation and reporting system with detailed guideline for its implementation

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ We offer an enabling and supportive work environment. Competitive compensation and total benefit package for the position of Manager (M&E) will be between Tk. 130,000 to Tk. 140,000 per month and fringe benefit for the position as per project budget provision. Six-month probationary period is compulsory for the position. Initially this position will be contractual for project period i.e. 30 June 2027, but contract may be renewed depending on performance and availability of the budget.
