Job Context:
∎ Palashipara Samaj Kallayan Samity (PSKS), a national NGO in Bangladesh, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities within the organization, ensuring effective recruitment, training and development, performance management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The HR Manager will report directly to the Director (Program) and will play a vital role in supporting the organization`s mission and goals.
∎ The HR Manager is responsible for the overall management of the HR function at PSKS. This includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, recruiting and selecting staff, managing performance, and providing training and development. The HR Manager also plays a key role in ensuring that PSKS complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
∎ Job Location: Head Office, Gangni, Meherpur.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with PSKS's overall mission and values.
∎ Oversee the recruitment and selection of new staff, ensuring that the best candidates are hired for the right positions.
∎ Manage performance of all staff, providing regular feedback and coaching.
∎ Develop and implement training and development programs to help staff reach their full potential.
∎ Comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
∎ Serve as a liaison between management and staff, resolving any HR-related issues.
∎ Represent PSKS at conferences and other events related to HR.
∎ Coordinate and participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, assistance in interviewing and reference checks.
∎ Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
∎ Identify training and development needs based on organizational goals and individual performance evaluations.
∎ Design and implement training programs to enhance employees; skills and knowledge.
∎ Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as leadership development, performance management, and team building.
∎ Implement a comprehensive performance management system to ensure clear expectations, regular feedback, and fair evaluations.
∎ Develop and revise performance appraisal tools and processes.
∎ Provide guidance and support to supervisors in conducting performance.
∎ Collaborate with management to address performance issues and develop performance improvement plans.
∎ Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and maintaining strong employee relations.
∎ Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
∎ Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and utilize feedbacks to improve the work environment.
∎ Develop and implement employee recognition programs to motivate ad retain talent.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a non-profit organization.
∎ In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and best practices in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to problem-solve issues.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook specifically), and database uses.
∎ Must be honest, report immediate issues, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
∎ Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
∎ Self-motivated and able to work independently.
∎ Willingness to accommodate requests for support outside of regular business hours on occasion, with appropriate notice.

Salary: Negotiable
