as a Manager (Housekeeping and Service) in a, Hotels, resort, Training center
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective operations.
∎ Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and providing performance feedback.
∎ Oversee the room-attending and laundry services of the guest rooms.
∎ Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet established cleanliness and maintenance standards.
∎ Supervise the store, manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
∎ Look after the electrical and other maintenance, including power support (Generator), and address any issue promptly.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with the housekeeping team to communicate expectations updates and provide training.
∎ Handle guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
∎ Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy and housekeeping reports.
∎ Monitor and adhere to budgetary guidelines for the housekeeping department.
∎ Stay updated on trends and best practices to improve housekeeping operations continuously.
∎ Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk/reception and kitchen, to address guest requests.
∎ Create and manage the housekeeping budget, tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed.
∎ Improve the overall aesthetic of the center's surroundings and premise, ensuring regular and proper gardening arrangement.
∎ Look after the center's security measures through timely scheduling of guards.
∎ Manage and supervise subordinate staff, including leave approval, duty roster/ rotation, etc.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team, Food and Beverage team, accounts staff, purchase team, and relevant teams of the CSS Head Office.
∎ Any other task as assigned by higher management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Age requirements will be relaxed for experienced candidates;
∎ Applicants should have experience in a hotel, training center, resort, or a comparable establishment as a Manager (Housekeeping and Service) or in a similar role;
∎ Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills are highly desirable;
∎ Candidate should know how to ride a motorcycle with a valid driving license;
∎ Willingness to work extra hours is expected.
Salary: Tk. 20000 - 25000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ After being permanent upon successful completion of the probation period (six months), other benefits will be provided as per the organizational policy, i.e., provident fund, gratuity, festival bonus, yearly increment, staff insurance (kormi Bima), medical allowance (Kormi Sohayota Tohobil) etc.
