Experience:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Cost & Management Accounting.
Strong knowledge in ERP system and advanced proficiency in MS office (specifically Microsoft Excel).
Having prior RMG industry experience will be an added advantage.
Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of modern financial management, VAT, Tax and internal control system etc.
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, accounting i.e. Cash Book, Ledgers and related books of accounts for relevant projects.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and proper filing of all financial documents and preservation as per company policies.
Ensure the payment of Tax and VAT in due time and collect certificates of all payments.
Assist the Director of Finance and Administration to develop and monitor annual budgets.
Implement systems for effective budget tracking and variance analysis and share the report with Director of Finance and Administration monthly.
Oversee and maintain asset management for asset tracking and monitoring by Accounting Software (ERP) and fixed asset registers.
Verify the accuracy, validity, and legitimacy of the purchase documents (work orders, invoices, authorities’ approval) before payments are made by the accountant.
Maintain all statutory compliance as per Income Tax Act 2023, VAT and Supplementary Duty Act, 2012, and other rules and regulations.
Supervise and mentor the Finance and Accounts officer, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Attend and represent the Finance Team at Meetings, Management Committee and staff meetings.
Visit to company project for financial monitoring and development.
Provide necessary information, records, and accounts reports to the auditor as required, and ensure the timely completion of the audit in accordance with donor, NGOAB, and NBR requirements.
Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management to support organizational objectives.
