Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Position SummaryWe are looking for some candidates for the position of Manager – Dyeing Lab.
∎ Responsible for Dyeing Laboratory (Knit fabrics).
∎ Must have sound knowledge of Knit fabric Dyeing area & Continuous dyeing.
∎ Instruct team members that which chemical-dye formula/process be appropriate to create the right color.
∎ Supervise & monitor in preparing necessary recipes for lab in respect of color, shade and other quality parameters.
∎ Analyze lab data, consumption of raw materials and quality control measures.
∎ Follow-up in developing samples with a high degree of personal responsibility.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of man, machine & material to achieve higher efficiency.
∎ Higher analytical skills of understanding the dyeing, finishing processes.
∎ Advancing through technical discussion with subordinates.
∎ Should have ensuring capability of on time submission, avoiding re-submission & to keep swatch/Lab dips number & maintain the bulk order dyeing recipe smoothly.
∎ Improve RFT %, Reduce Re-work %, Reduce Wastage%
∎ To be able to estimate color consumption as per order Quantity.
∎ Should have efficient expertise regarding chemical management system in terms of legal laws, rules.
∎ Should have good knowledge on MSDS, TDS, MRSL, RSL etc.
∎ Ensure minimum Water, Steam, Air and Electricity Consumption.
∎ Communicate with related department like Elastic division, planning division and respective merchandiser of the buyer for ensuring 100% dyeing quality, shade matching.
∎ Check and test the quality of different dyes & chemicals.
∎ Should have good knowledge on cost analysis (dyes, chemicals & finished goods).Daily, Weekly, Monthly report to Management.
