Job Context:
∎ Managers in Commercial and Supply Chain Management oversee various aspects of the supply chain, such as procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. You are responsible for setting strategic goals, managing teams, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services.
∎ Job Type: Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Lead the development of supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement strategies.
∎ Lead all activities of Local and Foreign procurement and prepare report for management.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and foreign suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance.
∎ Identify strategic sourcing opportunities to optimize supplier selection, pricing and quality.
∎ Develop and implement supplier evaluation process, including supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, quality standards and cost efficiencies.
∎ Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying cost.
∎ Coordinate with production teams to plan and schedule.
∎ Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions.
∎ Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
∎ Guide team for transportation and logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and drive continuous improvement.
∎ Conduct regular assessments of market trends, industry best practices and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of experience with 05 years as SCM.
∎ Experience in Building Materials industry will be highly preferred.
∎ Specialized on local & foreign procurement.
