1. Strong practical experience in importing chemicals, batteries, and electrical/electronic products.

2. Practical experience in obtaining import-related approvals, licenses, permits, and regulatory clearances from relevant government authorities.

3. Sound knowledge of banking procedures related to import and export transactions, including trade finance operations.

4. Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and customs-related regulations, with practical experience in compliance.

5. Hands-on experience coordinating with C&F (Clearing & Forwarding) Agents and Freight Forwarding Companies.

6. Practical knowledge of international logistics, shipping, freight management, and transportation of import and export consignments.

7. Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, verifying, and maintaining all import and export documentation.

8. Excellent document management, record-keeping, and filing skills for import and export operations.

9. Practical experience in submitting import/export documents to banks, processing trade-related bills, and handling documentary collection procedures in accordance with international trade practices.

10. Good understanding of Letter of Credit (L/C) operations, shipping documents, customs clearance procedures, Incoterms, and international trade regulations. Experience in these areas will be considered an added advantage.

11. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, banks, customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
