Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement cost-effective procurement and logistics strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
∎ Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, product quality and delivery timelines.
∎ Manage trade-related banking activities, including the execution and monitoring of Letters of Credit (LCs).
∎ Liaise closely with banks, C&F agents and customs authorities to ensure efficient clearance and timely arrival of shipments.
∎ Plan and coordinate efficient logistics and transportation solutions to ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods.
∎ Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies to streamline import/export operations.
∎ Maintain effective communication and working relationships with BPDB and other relevant government bodies/agencies, particularly on matters related to power plant operations.
∎ Coordinate with the appropriate authorities to obtain necessary clearances, licenses and approvals required for the company’s operations.
∎ Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, import/export regulations, customs requirements and government directives through proactive engagement with regulatory bodies.
∎ Perform any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by the management as required.
∎ The Manager– Commercial & Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial operations, supply chain management, and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
∎ Procurement & Cost Optimization:
∎ Develop and implement cost-effective procurement and logistics strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining quality and timely delivery.

∎ Banking & Trade Documentation:
∎ Manage trade-related banking activities, including the execution and monitoring of Letters of Credit (LCs).

∎ Logistics & Transportation Management:
∎ Plan and coordinate efficient logistics and transportation solutions to ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods.

∎ Regulatory & Government Liaison:
