Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Head Office in Banani, Dhaka with occasional field visits as per project needs.
∎ Job Description: mPower Social Enterprises Ltd. mostly deals with clients from Government and Non-Government Organizations. During business development phase we analyze the client needs, create prototypes of solutions and different communication materials which includes but are not limited to: presentations, mock-ups, user stories, stakeholder mapping etc. We are looking for someone who will be in charge of this pre-sales phase, assign and ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks from other in-house stakeholders and will assure smooth hand-over to the project team once the project is finalized.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Business development communication for sales:
∎ Working independently and designing presentations of mPower's solutions with confidence and with minimal guidance.
∎ Designing, editing, and distributing print and digital content for media channels.
∎ Designing and customizing presentations according to client need.
∎ Listing ecosystem players and potential target organizations.
∎ Creating targeted and customized communication material to approach the organizations on our list.
∎ Developing animation/ video scripts on products and communication materials for social media and blog posts based on customer feedback.
∎ Project management for partnership or sales process:
∎ Managing the various threads of partnerships and sales.
∎ Organizing meetings, creating support material, and preparing follow-up reports for the DoI for innovation pitch, co-creation meetings, sales presentations, and ideation workshops.
∎ Scheduling and monitoring timely delivery of proposal components.
∎ Liaising with the sector specialists, solution designers and technology team to collect inputs for new projects.
∎ Be in charge of sales closure and after contract signing, assuring proper hand-over of all the information from the pre-sales phase to the project manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Deep understanding of the NGO sector.
∎ Understanding of ICT solutions and prior experience with ICT either in design, or requirements gathering.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English. Advanced communication, negotiation and decision-making skills to do effective and goal-oriented business development.
∎ Knack to learn new topics to connect technology and development paradigm in different sectors like - health, agriculture and humanitarian topics to create new opportunities. Have proven ability to quickly investigate, learn and deliver technical solutions.
∎ Work cooperatively and effectively with potential clients and different teams to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
∎ Assess crisis situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
∎ Proficiency in multiple visual tools (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create professional looking presentations with aesthetically pleasing infographics.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office applications, Project Management tools.
