Job Context:
∎ FH Association (a Christian, relief & development organization) wants to fill one (1) Manager- Area Program (MAP) position for its Chapai Nawabganj Area Program and therefore, inviting applications from eligible candidates.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Manager- Area Program (MAP) provides day-to-day guidance to the area programs with oversight responsibilities in the area of Program Planning and Management, Documentation, Reporting, and Financial management. As a member of the Management team, the MAP will contribute to the overall strategic direction of FH Bangladesh by collaborating with Dhaka Office Managers to ensure smooth implementation of activities in the field in adherence to the laid down Program policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAP will be the point person for overall area program management, networking and administration;
∎ Ensure proper implementation and quality of program implementation in the region, insuring program policies are followed;
∎ Conduct regular field visits to monitor, support and supervise Team Leaders/Sector heads in implementing programs, provide suggestions for improvement;
∎ Identify the needs of the program areas, get support from program technical teams as and when needed;
∎ Ensure Community Team Leaders/Sector heads have enough technical, functional, and operating knowledge and support of handing over FH projects to Community Based Organizations (CBO);
∎ Manage the area program financial budget and insuring adherence to the established budget and all financial policies;
∎ Support Community Team Leaders/Sector heads and project staff in writing annual/special program implementation plans, annual reports, considering strategies, identifying community needs, and ensuring the integration of all sectors of transformational development;
∎ Monitor and evaluate program implementation plans by following established guidelines and tools; and
∎ Other Duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years related experience in a program management and implementation context;
∎ Direct experience within an INGO or a reputed national NGO.
∎ Knowledge & Competencies:

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, ability to relate to and communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);
∎ High integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Willingness to travel extensively in the area/locations using own/organization motorcycle or local transport. Valid driving license is a plus.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per organizational pay scale.
