Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance & Banking
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA (Part Complete), CMA (Part Complete), ACCA (Part Complete), CFA (Part Complete).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 01. To record all accounting and financial transactions of the Company (i.e., Strategic Business Units) in compliance with accounting and financial policies, procedure, etc. in ERP based accounting and reporting software;
∎ 02. To prepare Financial Statements in compliance with IAS/IFRS;
∎ 03. To prepare Consolidated Financial Statements for all business concerns;
∎ 04. To prepare financial reports, management reports under accounting and financial MIS;
∎ 05. To prepare annual budget and forecast cash flow within a targeted time to be followed by exception reporting;
∎ 06. To establish proper budgetary control to be followed by budget variance analysis with regular intervals;
∎ 07. To do proper reconciliations of every general ledger/sub-ledger/control ledger of all functional modalities of financial accounting and reporting chain and take appropriate course to action to ensure adherence to standard practices;
∎ 08. To do proper compliances with the provisions of fiscal laws and regulations (amended up-to-date);
∎ 09. To do banking correspondences, prepare project profiles for credit facilities, arrange multiple finances at cost-effective rate from banks and other financial institutions, prepare and update the Group Liability Position of all concerns by keeping all records into the ERP system up-to-date;
∎ 10. To develop and maintain accounting and finance policies and procedures to ensure better governance of financial accounting and reporting discipline in every business unit of the Group;
∎ 11. To define key recovery metrics, monitor the collection process, perform regular reconciliation and analysis of credit recovery streams;
∎ 12. To ensure proper functioning of cost modules, identify the areas of improvement, initiate cost savings approaches and take initiatives to improve functional and operational efficiencies;
∎ 13. To implement cost control and reduction schemes throughout the business process to add value to the business value chain and reporting thereto;
∎ 14. To implement Cost Accounting records, techniques (standard costing, marginal costing etc.), methods (process/contract/job costs methods etc.), including preparation cost sheet and business performance reports as and where/when applicable;
∎ 15. To perform any other roles and responsibilities time to time as per management requirements.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (also requires to do travel to Factory premises as and when requires)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 34 years

∎ • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Financial Reporting as per IAS/IFRS, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis (preferably as per IIBA standards/guidelines), Financial Management, LC Management (preferably as per ISCEA-Bangladesh guidelines), Cost Management (preferably as per ICMAB/CIMA, UK standards/guidelines), Market Recovery (as per industry practices), Fiscal Management (as per NBR laws and regulations) etc.
∎ • Experienced in SAP, Oracle-EBS, any advanced ERP Software. Candidate having software experience with any manufacturing company (garment and/or garment accessories) will be given preference;
∎ • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
