Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (Pass)
∎ Graduation in Social Science (i.e., Economics, Development Economics, Sociology, Gender studies, Agriculture Economics, Rural Development, Livelihood Development, or other relevant disciplines).

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Minimum of 5 years of experience in livelihood building interventions
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Tentative employment duration of this position is 12 months. LEDCs will work under the direct supervision of the Divisional Coordinator and the Upazila Women Affairs Officer (UWAO). She/he will work closely with DD (district) of DWA, Lead NGO staffs, Livelihood Facilitator, and other staff of the PIU/Expertise of the area based Local languages and context. Major responsibilities of the Livelihood Enterprise Development Coordinator position are as follows -
∎ Understand the ICVGD 2nd phase project objectives, principles, and approaches in achieving sustainable lift of selected VGD women and their families out of extreme poverty.
∎ Take responsibility for successful implementation of the ICVGD 2nd Phase project in the assigned upazila as per the project document, implementation guideline, and other instructions from the Project implementation Authority (PlU).
∎ Liaison with different stakeholders including the VGD committees at upazila, union, and district level, UWAO and DD (district) of DWA, Lead NGOs and other strategic partners and develop functional relationship with them.
∎ Develop Upazila level annual and quarterly activity plan highlighting major accomplishment targets and timelines.
∎ By collaborating with the Livelihood Facilitators, provide hand on support to the project beneficiaries for developing their livelihood enterprises. These supports include but not limited to: helping the beneficiaries to select the potential lGAs considering the socio-economic condition of the region, supporting them to engage in group or cooperative based IGA activities for better bargaining power, establishing their linkage with local quality service providers to ensure hassle-free operation of their enterprises, and facilitate establishing linkage with marketactors (market committee, private company representatives and others) for beneficiaries' improved market access.
∎ By coordinating with the Livelihood Facilitators, the LEDCs shall also ensure that beneficiaries follow and apply the lessons from the training in their personal life and their income earning endeavors.
∎ Prepare quarterly and annual activity plans of the project and ensure proper implementation of the planned activities through effective mobilization of Resource persons and Livelihood Facilitators.
∎ Identify and analyze potential opportunities to improve ultra-poor women's access to resources, services and market.
∎ Identify area specific potential service providers, input/output market actors, project partners and develop strategies to establish their linkage with the beneficiaries of the ICVGD 2nd Phase project.
∎ Supervise implementation of project strategies and interventions, attaining commitment of market actors, service providers and other stakeholders for efficient implementation of the project.
∎ Assess the capacity building needs of the Livelihood Facilitators and take initiative to build their capacity.
∎ Regularly monitor utilization and use of project resources and ensure that they are used in a cost-effective way.
∎ Along with the concerned resource persons from his/her own organization, take part in the capacity building sessions (regional Training of Trainers), organized by the Lead NGOs of the project on the 5 training modules. Later ensure that, these resource persons conduct the training sessions for the project beneficiaries at field level.
∎ Arrange training sessions for the beneficiaries as per requirement by the project design and coordinate with the Resource persons and Livelihood Facilitators for successfully conducting the training sessions.
∎ Analyze the constraints faced by service providers and other market actors and their ability to understand and address these constraints.
∎ Organize and facilitate training, workshop, orientation, and discussion sessions as necessary.
∎ Maintain close communication with the relevant government offices (agriculture, livestock, fisheries, youth development, cooperative etc.) at the upazila level to facilitate delivery of services from them to project beneficiaries.
∎ Strictly follow the monitoring and reporting matrix of the project and reports and plans through prescribed templates.
∎ Document the success stories and lessons from project implementation requirement.
∎ Extend support to the PIU in evidence generation activities.
∎ Other activities as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Duty station will be the assigned upazila and the staff must be positioned at that upazila.
∎ Positive and proactive attitude.
∎ Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills, including report-writing in Bangla and English. o Must be able to understand and communicate with the beneficiaries in the local dialect of the assigned upazila.
∎ In-depth knowledge on MlS, M&E and development issues.
∎ Expertise in networking, lobbing, and liaison with service providers.
∎ Strong training & facilitation skills.
∎ Expertise of the area based Local languages and context.
