Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will play a vital role in tracking the development of project participants and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders within the project. Assignments may range from enrolling project participants in proper trades to job placement, home placement, and evaluation and case management. The designated personnel will work with his/ her line manager to identify strategies for enhancing program outcome.
∎ The base location will be in Sadarghat, Dhaka and will report to Line Manager & Coordinator (Development Program)
∎ DIMENSIONS:
∎ 1. Surveying eligible project participants.
∎ 2. Market Analysis and selection of Trades
∎ 3. Shop selection
∎ 4. Orient and train MCP and project participants
∎ 5. Monitoring and evaluation of training
∎ 6. Case Management
∎ 7. Manage accommodation, travel and food of project participants
Job Responsibilities:
∎ PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
∎ Structuring an Adolescent Skills Development Project
∎ Conducting an extensive survey on the eligibility of adolescents and analyze their needs and gap analysis
∎ Market Survey of trades in demand of eligible workforce.
∎ Selection of Shops / Trade.
∎ Orient and Train the Master Crafts person and Project Participants.
∎ Enrolling the project participants in proper trade and training aligned with the skill sets of the adolescents
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and evaluate the training programs and its effectiveness
∎ Ensure job placement through apprenticeship for the participants of the training program within the last month of completion of training
∎ Counselling the parents of the adolescents involved with the programs
∎ Maintaining a database to keep track of the progress of every adolescent and sending a monthly progress report
∎ Arranging monthly group sessions with the Master Craft Person/Local leader/Community Role Models
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Relevant experience in the implementation and management of livelihood and development programs
∎ Prior experience in working with NGO is an asset
∎ Prior experience in working in field
∎ Written and oral fluency in English and Bengali
