Job Responsibilities:
∎ The ICT Team Lead will have three major categories of responsibilities:
∎ Project Management
∎ Determining and defining objectives as well as SoP and guideline of ICT-enabled solutions in consultation with the Project Director and Project Implementation Advisor of mPower;
∎ Lead all aspects of mPower programmatic and project ICT activities including providing training to Local Service Providers, micro-enterprises and other relevant livestock value chain actors.
∎ Monitor the entire project management lifecycle for each application by developing HR timeline and analyzing engagement dynamics as well as other relevant contractual obligations, while maintaining budget.
∎ Coordinating with mPower project management and tech team for planning and development of ICT-enabled solutions;
∎ Ensuring that ICT deliverables are meeting deadlines and are within budget
∎ Plan and Coordinate with ACDI/VOCA at Dhaka and regional Office for development and implementation of ICT-enabled solutions.
∎ Ensure timely reporting on performance indicators to ACDI/VOCA.
∎ Field Implementation
∎ Coordinate with ACDI/VOCA relevant counterparts at regional offices for implementation of the ICT-enabled solutions.
∎ Design, develop, coordinate, and implement user feedback to improve UI/UX and make continuous improvement on applications.
∎ Piloting and scaling-up of the ICT solutions in the field;
∎ Supervising the Regional ICT Coordinator for field implementation.
∎ Coordinate LSP training schedule with regional ICT coordinators and ACDI/VOCA regional team.
∎ Institutionalization
∎ Coordinate and facilitate with relevant government and private stakeholders (e.g., DLS, FAO, Insurance, Animal Health and AI companies).
∎ Understanding the stakeholders’ strategies, processes, and explore opportunities for collaboration for leveraging digital technologies/tools.
∎ Identifying potential clients for commercialization of the solutions by mapping and value chain analysis.
∎ Organize and facilitate stakeholders meeting, and pitch ICT solutions to find the collaboration opportunities.
∎ Explore partnership opportunities with TSP (Training Service Providers) to commercialize training using ICT solutions.
∎ Developing appropriate solution-wise sustainability business model.
∎ Defining client-specific strategy, scope of work, and pilots with stakeholders.
∎ Closing sales of the ICT-enables solutions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ S/he should have minimum 8 (eight) years of experience in the project management, ICT, development sector. Experience in livestock sector will be an added advantage.
∎ Relevant project leading experience with development sector, private sector, software development, management consultancy.
∎ Experience of working closely with relevant government bodies, private companies, and development agencies, especially in livestock will get preference.
∎ Proven networking skills for developing and managing stakeholder relationships.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skill to manage internal and external stakeholder, as well as donor communication and reporting
∎ Certification in ITIL, PMP or Prince2 and other relevant project management & ICT certifications.
