Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum SSC/HSC or equivalent degree from any discipline

  • Minimum 1/2 years and above in the relevant field (social work)

Responsibilities & Context:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Door to door visit to community beneficiaries & conduct primary mental health screening using related tools and techniques

  • Provide recovery-oriented psychosocial counseling services to individuals experiencing psychological distress.

  • Identify individuals with high mental health needs cases and refer to the relevant professional/project psychologist. 

  • Conduct community-based group sessions on mental health issues.

  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote mental health services.

  • Maintain details records of activities & submit reports. 

  • Assist in planning and conducting community sensitization workshop and events.

  • Any other relevant & need basis activities assigned by the project authorities.

  • Assist in organizing consultative workshops involving community representatives.

  • Assist in ensuring the conduct of training sessions for local health workers to strengthen their knowledge and skills in mental health.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports, along with timely online data entry.

Minor Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the monthly action plan.

  • Assist to prepare a success story of the project each month and send to HO including photos and signed consent forms.

  • Attend various meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Rapport building and collaboration with related stakeholders, especially local Government, local NGO’s, etc.

  • Any other task assigned by organization.
