Job Location: Ira Clinic & Diagnostic Center, Anowara, Chittagram.
Job Context:
The laboratory technologist will be responsible for all activities at the assigned laboratory. The job holder must carry out their roles and responsibilities to provide quality laboratory services through updated knowledge and techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in quality assurance planning of the laboratory
Plan and prepare annual and quarterly logistics requirements for the laboratory
Support preparing quality assurance tools and guidelines in line with the national guidelines.
Support higher management in decision-making.
Maintain essential safety measures for infection control in the laboratory
Maintain optimum standards in smearing and microscopy following the SOP and guidelines
Ensure maintenance of the microscope and other laboratory equipment as per the SOP and guidelines
Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs, reagents, and other logistics at the laboratory
Refer presumptive and complicated cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis
Support in EQA and slide rechecking.
Ensure hygienic disposal of waste materials
Maintain a contact tracing register for active case findings and refer presumptive cases to the nearby diagnostic facility
Assist govt. MT (Lab.) at the UHC lab, whenever necessary
Any other job as required by the project.
Maintain regular coordination with related stakeholders;
Record results in respective forms and register and report promptly to the requesting staff;
Ensure complete and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting as per the guidelines.
Special Note:
Carry out any additional assignment per her/his position entrusted with the Ira Clinic & Diagnostic Center Management from time to time and mutually agreed upon

Due to the emergency response nature of GK's work, hours of work may vary, and employees should be flexible in approaching hours of work in emergency conditions
