• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.

• Ability to handle laboratory equipment and specimens carefully.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in shifts.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional attitude, discipline, and commitment to patient care.

• Basic computer skills.

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens according to established procedures.

• Perform routine laboratory tests and examinations accurately and efficiently.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as required.

• Prepare reagents, solutions, slides, and other laboratory materials.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens and biomedical waste.

• Maintain accurate records of test results, samples, and laboratory activities.

• Follow laboratory SOPs, quality-control procedures, and biosafety guidelines.

• Assist Medical Technologists, Pathologists, and other laboratory professionals when required.

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the laboratory.

• Report equipment malfunction, unusual test results, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
