Education:
∎ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Chemistry / Microbiology from any reputed Public University.

∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Training development and conducting skill.
∎ Familiar with kobo data collection process.
∎ Skilled at Microsoft Office Program (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Adept at different networking mobile apps (ex: WhatsApp).
∎ Languages: English, Bangla, and Local dialect of Rohingya.
∎ Possess positive attitude as development worker, team worker and accommodative within team at community level along with development partners.
∎ Strong team working skills and ability to motivate and facilitate the work of others; ability to work independently with different teams and under matrix management;
∎ Have a clear concept of drinking water and wastewater quality testing with different parameters.
∎ Ability to use Spectrophotometer, Laminar air flow, Autoclave, Incubator, Manifold, HACH DR300, DR900, 2100Q, HQ40d multi-meters and HANNA testing tools etc.
∎ Practical experience on pH, Turbidity, TSS, TDS, EC, DO, COD, BOD, E. coli, TC, FC
∎ Professional experience in working with drinking water supply & wastewater quality related activity.
∎ Experience on using tablets & smartphones and relevant software.
∎ Ability to formulate water quality test-related technical requirements and operating Procedures.
∎ Excellent experience in water quality testing and assisting & coordinating in engineering activities for the smooth implementation of project activities.
∎ Good understanding and working experience with humanitarian international codes of conduct and minimum sector standards, especially SPHERE standards.
∎ Experience in promoting water rights and water governance perspectives at local contexts;

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To work closely with Water Quality Analyst, conduct different water quality tests, collecting samples and take initiatives based on result. His/her prime focus will be preparing SOP for different water quality testing parameters and instrument calibration manual. Besides that, he/she has to arrange and conduct training for Pump Operators, CHPs on water quality parameters, sample collection system and water safety plan
∎ Ensure HTH mother solution standard and Free Residual chlorine value standard at Rohingya Refugee Camp level.
∎ Discussing and answering any questions regarding the water quality test results.
∎ Provide technical support to field-based sample collection & preserving data in assigned database.
∎ Calibration of Equipment like HANNA Conductivity meter, PH meter, Spectrophotometer, DR300, DR900, DR2100, Turbidity meters etc.
∎ Receiving, labeling, and safely storing water samples to be tested.
∎ Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
∎ Conducting a range of tests to determine the composition, quantity, and quality Effluent test of fecal sludge, including tests for pH, DO, BOD, COD, TSS, and other parameters.
∎ Determining and performing water quality needed for the Microbiological test (E. Coli, Total coliform, Fecal coliform), Chemical test (As, Fe, Mn, F, Cl-, NO3- , Pb etc.) as well as physical test (EC, TDS, Turbidity, Color, odor)Adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure the safe handling of fecal sludge and other hazardous materials.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Communicating test results and other findings to laboratory managers, treatment plant operators, and other stakeholders.
