Responsibilities & Context:
Laboratory Preparation: Set up, test and disassemble apparatus for physics, chemistry, and biology experiments before and after classes.
Safety & Compliance: Implement safety procedures, including the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and biohazards.
Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment (microscopes, sensors, etc.).
Inventory Control; Manage inventory levels, including ordering, labeling, and organizing chemical reagents and equipment.
Academic Assistance: Guide students on proper equipment usage and assist teachers during demonstrations.
Documentation: Maintain stock registers, safety records, and usage logs.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory apparatus, chemical properties, and basic troubleshooting.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strict adherence to safety standards.
